My name is Gérard, founder of FLExceed-Consulting and your future certified Trainer-Consultant.

My career: from Asia to Europe
A rich industrial background and a career change toward training
With an initial background in mechanics, I discovered the many applications of this discipline, both in the science of motion and in the design of tools and machines.
This path naturally led me to the industrial sector, first within the Central Methods department of a large automotive group, where I acquired skills in quality management and customer satisfaction, before moving on to industrial project management in the implantable medical device industry, a sector with strict safety and regulatory standards.
After twenty years of experience in the industry, including an initial two-year expatriation in Thailand as a product engineer, I developed organizational and interpersonal skills, which gave me the opportunity to lead training sessions for operational teams in France, Poland, and Thailand.
Following my expatriation in Thailand, I decided to change career paths, with the desire to share my experience. I therefore chose to follow a certified training program to become a Trainer-Consultant.
From international experience to the heart of French language teaching
My new career led me to work in a “Professional Language Preparation” program for refugees, helping them achieve a sufficient level of French to access employment or training. Working with people from very diverse backgrounds has allowed me to hone my adaptability and flexibility skills, which are essential qualities in teaching French as a foreign language.
I then decided to move abroad again for a new expatriation in Thailand, where I taught more than 4,000 hours of French as a foreign language to learners of all nationalities (Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian, Scottish, Israeli, etc.) and of all ages, either in person or remotely with connections to Japan, Somalia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Canada, Rwanda, Kuwait, etc.

I have had the opportunity to work with children, teenagers, and adults, ranging from beginner to C2 level. All of these enriching experiences have allowed me to meet learners from very different cultures and to adapt to the specific needs of each student’s profile.
